Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College recently forged a strategic partnership with the Centre of Excellence in Maritime and Shipbuilding (CEMS), marking a significant step towards empowering students with essential employability skills.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony took place at the college premises, underscoring the commitment to fostering technological advancement and skill development.

According to G. Madhu Kumar, the college secretary and correspondent, the collaboration with CEMS aims to offer comprehensive training in cutting-edge technologies to both engineering and non-engineering students.

Notably, this opportunity extends not only to Bullayya College students but also welcomes participation from students of other institutions.

The primary objective of this partnership is to equip students with crucial skills in mechanical, electrical, electronics, communications, and logistics.

Certificates awarded by CEMS upon completion of the training further enhance the students' credentials in the job market. The training programs range from two weeks to six months, ensuring flexibility and depth in learning.

Sethu Madhavan, CEO of CEMS, highlighted the institution's role as a skill development center with state-of-the-art electronic laboratories in Visakhapatnam and Mumbai.

He emphasized the accessibility of free programs to students through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. CEMS specializes in training students in diverse areas such as 3D printing, design, robotics, and other emerging technologies, enriching their skill sets and preparing them for the demands of the modern workforce.
