City Police issue fresh traffic restrictions in the city for new year



The following restrictions were imposed by the city police on 31-12-2021 in connection with the New Year celebrations in the context of Corona.

1. Visitors and vehicular traffic to RK Beach, Jodhgullapalem Beach, Sagarnagar Beach, Rishikonda Beach, Bhimili Beach and Yarada Beach will be restricted from 8 pm.

2. All types of vehicular traffic will be regulated in the beach Road from NCB to Bheemili from 10 pm to 5 am.

3. Teluguthalli flyover, NAD flyover will be closed from 10 pm to 5 am.

4. The middle line over NAD Junction to Convent Junction will be closed from 10 pm to 5 am BRTS Road from Hanumanthavaka to Adavivaram Junction, Goshala Junction to Vepagunta Junction, Pendurthi Junction. Emergency vehicles must travel through the service road on either side.

5. The line between BRTS Road from Maddilapalem Junction to Rama Talkies and the underpass at RTC Complex will be closed from 10 pm to 5 am.


6. Legal action will be taken against those who cause speeding, make loud noises or consuming alcohol while driving on the roads.

7. Restaurants, bars, hotels, shops should be limited to the time allotted to them as per government norms.

8. No celebrations should be held on the roads, open spaces, parks and as a social responsibility of city dwellers

9. Additional Deputy Commissioner appealed to the city dwellers to abide by the COVID rules and celebrate the New Year peacefully and to co-operate with the police department which is working hard for the welfare of the society.
