CM Jagan visited Sarada Peetham in Vizag on Wednesday
Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy arrived in Vizag Wednesday. He visited Sarada Peetham located in Chinnamushidiwada and performed Raja Syamala Yagam.
Sarada Peetham Seer Swamy Swaroopananda had conducted Raja Syamala Yagma before the 2019 general elections.
CM arrived in Vizag along with endowments department minister Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao at 11:45 AM on Wednesday. Deputy CM and Revenue Minister Dharmana Krishna Das, Tourism Minister M Srinivasa Rao, GVMC Mayor G Hari Venkata Kumari, MPs, MLAs besides district administration.
CM offered prayers to Lord Subrahmaneswara Swamy, Dasanjaneya Swamy, Tandava Murthy temples. He performed Shodasopachara pujas. He distributed certificates to passed out students from Shakaracharya Veda Pathashala.
A slight tension environment also prevailed at the venue while Minister Sidiri Appala Raju was abused by a police inspector at the entrance. The Minister got angry and allegedly pushed the inspector away and used abusive language on him.
The Minister told the police officials that he would not be attending the function until the inspector was suspended from duty and eventually went away without attending the event.
