Flying drones banned in Visakhapatnam during President’s Fleet Review and MILAN 2022



Visakhapatnam police have banned flying of drones during the President’s Fleet Review scheduled to happen between February 21st and 22nd in the city.

Several Union Ministers and VVIPs along with President are expected to attend the two-day event.
Police Commissioner Manish Kumar Sinha also stated that a temporary red zone will also be declared over the jurisdiction of Visakhapatnam city police Commissionerate for 48 hours. Flying of drones will be prohibited during that time.


The red zone order will come into force from 1 PM on 20th February to 1 PM on 22nd February.
The Presidential Fleet Review (PFR) is a one-day event and was scheduled to be held on February 21, 2022. Presidential Fleet review is about displaying the strength of Navy.

Prime Minister, President, Union Defence Minister, Chief Minister, Governor, Cabinet Ministers and a number of senior officials will be attending the PFR, MILAN 2022 that were scheduled to be held from February 25th to March 4th.

GVMC started beautifying the city as part of the preparation for MILAN-2022 and Presidential Fleet Review.
