Cyclonic Circulation Could Bring Rainfall to Andhra Pradesh Starting November 10

Visakhapatnam: A cyclonic circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal is projected to intensify into a low-pressure system by Sunday, potentially moving westward toward the coasts of Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

In its latest forecast issued Friday, the IMD predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning for isolated areas in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh (SCAP) and Rayalaseema on November 10. A period of intensified weather is expected from November 11 to 13, with heavy rainfall likely at select locations in SCAP and Rayalaseema, along with additional thunderstorms and lightning.

Despite this forecast, dry weather is expected across Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, with temperatures remaining largely unchanged. Light rainfall was recorded on Thursday in a few areas across coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.

As weather systems progress, residents are advised to stay updated on any further developments and take necessary precautions in areas where heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected.
