Divisional Railway Manager Waltair Shri Anup Satpathy inspected the Koraput- Rayagada section of Waltair Division today (12.02.2022).  He took stock of various amenities and facilities provided at the stations enroute and ongoing developmental activities in that section.
 
He inspected stations and various establishments at important stations in the section. DRM inspected the Koraput, Damanjodi, Lakshmipur Road and Rayagada stations thoroughly.

Vigorous inspection of railway track in the section, bridges, curves, level crossings and manned railway gates was conducted by DRM. He interacted with the Gangmen in the section to know their working skills, safety alertness and their grievances.

During his inspection, the DRM interacted with the passengers on the platforms and took their feedback on amenities available for their usage at stations. DRM interacted with the local representatives of various associations and media persons.

He listened carefully to their advice, suggestions, grievances and assured to look into the issues as much as possible or will be communicated to appropriate authorities. DRM Shri Anup Satpathy also met District Collectors of Koraput and Rayagada to expedite the new projects and to resolve the land issues so that new rail line projects can be executed on top priority.
 
He was accompanied by Senior Divisional Engineer (North) Shri David Ralf, Senior Divisional Operations Manager Shri G. Suneel Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Shri A. K. Tripathi, Senior Division  Personnel Officer Shri RNA Parida, Senior Divisional Safety Officer Shri Praveen Bhati and other officials and staff during the inspection.
