East Coast Railway Triumphs Over East Godavari in DRM Cup Volleyball Tournament



In an exhilarating match held at the Waltair Railway volleyball courts, the East Coast Railway team emerged victorious over East Godavari with a score of 2-0.

The fourth DRM Cup volleyball tournament witnessed a spirited clash between the two teams, with East Coast Railway displaying exceptional skill and teamwork to secure the win.

The tournament, inaugurated by DRM Saurabh Kumar, promised a thrilling display of volleyball prowess from participating teams.

In the men's league, East Coast Railway showcased their dominance on the court, outplaying East Godavari with scores of 25-22 and 25-25.

The match was a testament to the dedication and training of the East Coast Railway team, who executed their strategies with precision to clinch the victory.

 


Additionally, other matches of the tournament provided spectators with equally exciting moments. Prakasam triumphed over Krishna with a hard-fought victory, securing the win with scores of 25-21, 25-27, and 15-13.

Thursday's matches also saw intense competition, with KIIT University from Bhubaneshwar defeating SAI Hostel, Yanam, and Srikakulam emerging victorious against Sports Authority of Telangana, Hyderabad, both with 2-0 victories.

In the women's league, KIIT University showcased their prowess by defeating NBP Trust from Vijayawada with a score of 2-0.

Similarly, PKR Arts and Science College from Chennai secured a convincing win against NBP Trust.

The DRM Cup volleyball tournament continues to be a platform for teams to showcase their talent and compete at the highest level, promising more thrilling encounters as the competition progresses.
