First Priority is Ease of Doing Business: APIIC Chief Pravin Kumar
Pravin Kumar took charge as Vice Chairman & Managing Director, of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (APIIC) and as Commissioner of Industries (on full additional charge), and also as Chief Executive Officer, of AP Maritime Board on Monday.
Post assuming charge, Pravin addressed all the officials and staff of the Commissioner of Industries and APIIC on the ongoing priorities like Ease of Doing Business, Investment Promotions and Global Investors Summits, APIIC land allotment, land acquisition, etc.
He said that immediate priorities include developing a more conducive environment for the businesses in the state while ensuring compliance with Ease of Doing Business principles and grounding of investments for which MoUs were signed in the Andhra Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023.
Additionally, the Single Desk Portal, which is maintaining an SLA compliance of 99.11 percent for the last year, shall focus on extending its scope to include all business-specific services. Further, redressal of all the grievances received through SPANDANA shall be expedited.
Officials working on the industrial infrastructural projects under VCIC, CBIC, and HBIC were briefed on the progress of various activities undertaken. Pravin Kumar, as Project Director, instructed to expedite the grounding of projects where the tendering process is concluded.
He has also instructed the in-house team of APIIC to explore various industrial schemes announced by the Government of India for the development of the industrial landscape in the State.
