Visakhapatnam rural police arrested four persons and seized drugs from them at SVS resort in Kondakarla Ava in Visakhapatnam district on Monday.

The Police have intensified the investigation and established links between accused persons and drug dealers in Goa.

The Police carried out a raid based on credible information and seized seven pills of MDMA, four small packets of MDMA powder, 100 gms of dry ganja, two four wheelers and four mobile phones in the resort.

Thangeti Bharat, who is a native of Vizag, his friends V Nooka Raju, S Durga Prasad from Atchutapuram and Ch Venkatesh were arrested.

It is also known that Bharat was involved in two ganja cases and property offences in the city in past.
Venkata Ramana, Inspector of Yelamanchili Police Station said the prime accused Bharat procured ganja from Vizag agency and will visit Goa to sell weed at a higher price and procure MDMA pills and powder.

Police are suspecting that the people came to resort for selling drugs. A team has been formed to nab the suspects from Goa.
