Los Angeles: Actor Johnny Wactor, renowned for his role in the long-running television series "General Hospital," was tragically shot dead on Saturday morning in Los Angeles. The 37-year-old actor was targeted by thieves attempting to steal a catalytic converter from his car.

The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street in downtown LA. Wactor and a colleague were returning to his vehicle when they encountered three masked individuals in the act of theft.
