Global health summit in Vizag

Visakhapatnam will host the Global Health Summit, which is being organised by the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI). This summit is set to take place from January 6–8, 2023, at the Novotel and will see the participation of 100 doctors from the US and 400 doctors from India.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Health Minister Vidadala Rajini will inaugurate this summit. Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilsai will be the chief guest for the women's forum.
Free medical camps were already held in 19 places. A free HPV vaccine would be provided to 100 women in the age range of 9 to 27 years to control cervical cancer. This vaccination drive being organised as part of the summit will be held at MG Cancer Hospital in MVP Colony.
