GVMC to Take Action Against Pasting Wall Posters Without Permission

The GVMC Commissioner, C.M. Saikanth Varma, has issued a warning to individuals who paste wall posters without obtaining prior permission, indicating that strict action will be taken against violators. The Commissioner has directed the Sanitary Inspectors to monitor such activities and impose fines on those found pasting posters without permission.

During an inspection in several colonies in Zones III and V, including Dondaparthy and Railway New Colony, the Commissioner checked for unauthorized wall posters. The inspection aimed to enforce regulations that prevent unauthorized activities such as pasting posters without permission. The Commissioner also observed that many shopkeepers are dumping their waste in public places after closing their shops, which is leading to the accumulation of garbage in public areas. This action poses a significant health hazard as it attracts rodents and other pests that spread diseases. The commissioner urged shopkeepers to hand over their waste to the sanitary staff to ensure that the surroundings remain clean.

To further emphasize the importance of cleanliness, the Commissioner conducted an inspection of several areas, including Shankaramatam, Gnanapuram, and Diamond Park. During the inspection, he found heaps of waste and directed shopkeepers to clear them. He highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. It is essential to ensure that public spaces are clean and free of waste, as this has a significant impact on the health and well-being of the community.
