Heart Valves manufacturing unit to be set up in Vizag

Visakhapatnam will be the hub for the manufacture of the heart valves in Asia. Translumina company recently performed Bhumi Pooja for the establishment of a variety of valve manufacturing units in the Andhra Pradesh Medtech Zone (AMTZ) in Visakhapatnam.
The manufacturing unit is going to come up in 1 lakh square foot. The company mentioned that the construction works of the unit will be completed by December next year.
The valves manufacturing will begin after that. Heart valves are going to be manufactured in Vizag from 2023.
