The number of young people dying from sudden heart attacks was increasing. On Twitter, shocking videos of young people collapsing on the road, in the gym, at weddings, while dancing and driving, and so on were recently shared. These shocking videos prompted the hashtag #heartattack to trend on Twitter.

Sudden heart attack deaths among young people who appeared fit and healthy were on the rise. An unhealthy lifestyle, smoking, alcohol consumption, unaccustomed heavy exercise, junk food consumption, lack of physical activity, stress, and other factors are known to contribute to an increase in heart attacks among young people.

Heart attacks happen when the blood supply to the heart is suddenly cut off, usually by a blood clot.  Any sudden pain in your chest that spreads to your jaw, neck, hand, or abdomen could be life-threatening; be extremely cautious of these red flags.
