The Visakhapuri Mary Matha Feast drew a large crowd of people of all faiths
Every year, thousands of people from various faiths and religions attend the Visakhapuri Mary Matha feast at Ross Hill. This feast honors communal harmony. This legendary Roman Catholic Mother Mary's Church, which is nearly a century old, is also one of the city's tourist attractions.
The view from the hill is breathtaking, with a panoramic view of the beach, shipyard, and Visakhapatnam port, and it is a landmark shrine for people from all walks of life.
The three hills that house the church, mosque, and temple, which simply demonstrate the brotherhood between these three religions, are also examples of Vizag's heritage. This year's feast which was held on December 8, drew a large crowd of people of all ages who participated enthusiastically.
