Hindustan Shipyard Limited Unveils Upgraded Veterinary Hospital and Library in Vizag

In a significant stride towards community development, Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) proudly inaugurated the refurbished veterinary hospital and public library in Visakhapatnam as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative on Monday.

The extensive renovation project encompassed crucial civil works, repairs to concrete slabs, walls, and electrical systems, signaling a commitment to enhancing healthcare and educational facilities in the region.

During the inauguration, HSL officials were briefed on the considerable influx of animals seeking treatment at the renovated veterinary hospital.

The improvements are expected to contribute to better animal care and welfare within the community.

In addition to the veterinary hospital, the upgraded public library, also unveiled on the same occasion, is proving to be a valuable resource for the community.

Approximately 40 students utilize the library daily, underscoring its role as a hub for learning and knowledge dissemination. The initiative aligns with HSL's dedication to fostering education and well-being as part of its broader corporate social responsibility strategy.
