Visakhapatnam: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam, in partnership with TimesPro, has launched its second cohort of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program. This program, starting on May 28, is tailored for working professionals, emphasizing a tech-centric approach to enhance leadership and tackle industry challenges.

Diverse and Inclusive Cohort

The new batch boasts a 25% increase in size from the previous cohort, indicating growing interest and trust in the program. Comprising 180 professionals from 18 states and over 20 sectors, the cohort has an average work experience of ten years. Notably, 28% of the participants are women, highlighting the program's commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Program Highlights

The two-year blended EMBA program offers 740 hours of comprehensive learning, including two five-day on-campus immersion modules. The curriculum covers a wide array of subjects such as Marketing, Economics, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, Information Systems, Human Resources, Strategy, Production and Operations, Entrepreneurship, Project Management, Business Ethics, and Law.

At the inaugural event, chief guest MVN Rao, Head of Corporate Learning & Development at Larsen and Toubro Ltd, underscored the importance of upskilling and strategic execution for career advancement.
