INS Sumedha Triumphantly Returns After Touring 12 Nations



Indian Navy's patrol vessel, INS Sumedha, made a triumphant return to Visakhapatnam on Thursday after completing an extensive long-range deployment spanning over 22,000 nautical miles.

During this deployment, INS Sumedha visited 12 countries, fostering diplomatic ties and collaboration with naval partners in Africa. 


 The journey showcased India's unwavering commitment to maritime security in the region. Rear Admiral Rajesh Dhankar, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet, along with the staff of Headquarters Eastern Naval Command and the Sunrise Fleet, warmly welcomed the ship back home, joined by the families of the ship's dedicated crew, as per an official release.
