Lt Gen Gurbirpal Singh met with the Eastern Naval Command FOCinC today in Visakhapatnam

Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh interacted with Vice Adm Biswajit Dasgupta, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOCinC), Eastern Naval Command (ENC), today in Visakhapatnam. Lt Gen Gurbipal Singh, Director General of the National Cadet Corps (DGNC), is in Visakhapatnam for a two-day visit. He paid a courtesy call today at the ENC Headquarters.
According to the official release, during the meeting, the DG provided a brief on NCC activities within the ENC AOR as well as the ongoing All India Nau Sainik NCC Camp, which is being held in Visakhapatnam after a two-year gap.
The Lt Gen was pleased with the overwhelming participation of 612 cadets from 17 directorates across India. He also expressed his best wishes for the camp's successful conclusion on October 11.
