In a significant crackdown on illegal narcotics, authorities in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh have intercepted a massive consignment of hash oil, valued at a staggering 5.4 crores.

The operation, spearheaded by the Chintapalle sub-division police of ASR district, unfolded in Alagam village within the G Madugula mandal.

Under the banner of Operation Parivarthana, a joint effort involving Annavaram police and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) task force, culminated in the apprehension of Ulangi Prakash, a key figure in the illicit trade.

Prakash was caught red-handed during the transportation phase of his operation, signaling a significant breakthrough in the ongoing battle against drug trafficking.

The seized substance, totaling 53 kilograms, consisted of liquid ganja, a concentrated derivative of cannabis renowned for its potency and street value.
