Visakhapatnam Court Delivers Verdict in Sexual Assault Case
The special court for Pocso cases in Visakhapatnam city sentenced Yeluru Srinu, also known as Gajani, to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment (RI) on Tuesday for sexually assaulting a minor girl. In addition to the prison sentence, the court imposed a fine of ₹17,000 on the convict.
The judge also ordered the district legal service authority to compensate the survivor with ₹4 lakh, emphasizing the seriousness of the crime and the court's commitment to justice for the victim.
