VSEZ Achieves 18% Growth in Exports



Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone (VSEZ) recorded exports worth ₹62,198 crore in the first quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (April-June 2024), marking an 18% increase compared to the same period in 2023-24. 


Zone Development Commissioner Srinivas Muppaala reported that services exports accounted for ₹37,758 crore, while merchandise exports totaled ₹24,439 crore, showing a significant 72% rise. Additionally, three new SEZ unit proposals and two EOU proposals (two from Andhra Pradesh, one from Telangana) were approved during this period.
