Mangamaripeta Arch :

One of the highlights of Visakhapatnam's Mangamaripeta Beach is the natural Mangamaripeta arch, which is a work of art created by nature. Marine geological activity and erosion shaped this arch over the last 6000 years or more.

The arch is made up of Mangamaripeta rocks from the Eastern Ghats that date back 800 to 1,600 million years.

You can walk on this arch while watching the waves break against it, then come back to attempt again. The government has been encouraged by geologists to conserve the arch, which is in risk of being damaged due to high visitor traffic.
