Over 1000 cell towers will be installed in tribal areas of the Alluri District

The government is implementing welfare programmes in the tribal areas of the Alluri Sitharama Raju District. Among the development initiatives are cell towers and improved road connectivity. Over 1000 cell towers will be built as part of the "Mission Connect Paderu" plan.

"Mission Connect Paderu" has seen the start of the work, with BSNL, Jio, and Airtel jumping into action to complete the setup and installation works of their towers.

New approvals for 1100 towers were granted, with Jio receiving 380, Airtel receiving 47, and BSNL receiving 755. Over 90% of these towers are expected to be operational by 2024, resulting in improved connectivity in Alluri Sitharama Raju District's tribal areas.
