Over 8000 sedative pills were seized in Vizag

The task force police arrested a gang of seven members from Kancharapalem and seized over 8,000 sedative pills, 5 kg of ganja, and a lethal knife from them. Interrogation has been carried out to discover exactly how these pills and ganja are obtained and to whom they are being sold.
At the same time, drug use in the city is increasing, and police have frequently caught ganja coming from agency areas. As a result, the task force has kept a close eye on drug activity in the city and immediately arrested those involved.
There is an increase in drugs entering Vizag from Goa via Hyderabad. The department has arrested several Goa-related drug peddlers and is now focusing more on drugs from Goa and other locations.
