The anticipation for gold production in Andhra Pradesh is on the rise as preparations are underway for operations to commence by the end of 2024 at the Jonnagiri gold mine in the Kurnool district.
Marking a significant milestone, this endeavor stands as the country's inaugural private gold mine initiative.
Gemairsore Services Company, spearheading the project, has already secured 250 acres of land dedicated to this purpose.
Reports suggest that substantial progress, with 60% completion, has been achieved in setting up the processing plant.
Once operational, it is projected that the mine will yield an annual output of 750 kilograms of gold.
In terms of investment, the company has already committed Rs. 200 crore towards this endeavor, underlining its commitment to the venture's success.
