RINL Donates Battery Cars to KGH Under Corporate Environment Responsibility Initiative
Visakhapatnam: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, has donated five battery-operated cars worth ₹40 lakh to King George Hospital (KGH) as part of its Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) initiative.
The inauguration ceremony of the battery cars was held recently, with Dr. A Mallikarjuna, Visakhapatnam District Collector and Chairman of the Hospital Development Society, presiding over the event. Joining him were A.K. Bagchi, Director (Projects) of RINL-VSP, and Dr. P Ashok Kumar, Superintendent of KGH.
This donation aims to enhance the hospital's transportation facilities, contributing to a greener and more efficient healthcare environment. The initiative underscores RINL's commitment to environmental sustainability and community support.
