Vizag Police Seize Illegal Firecracker Stock in Gajuwaka



Visakhapatnam: City police have seized a substantial stockpile of firecrackers that were being stored illegally in a house on High School Road in Gajuwaka.

The operation led to the apprehension of a man identified as Gandhi. According to the police, Gandhi had stored firecrackers worth approximately ₹5 lakh in his residence. 


He is known to be involved in the firecracker business, and authorities suspect that he intended to sell the firecrackers during the counting day celebrations for various political parties.

The seizure highlights the ongoing efforts of the Vizag police to crack down on illegal activities and ensure public safety. Gandhi is currently in police custody as the investigation continues.
