Health Minister V. Rajini, who is also the in-charge Minister for the district, announced the commencement of road expansion works in two key areas of Visakhapatnam.

The first phase of the project has kicked off between Goshala Junction and Tholi Pavancha in Simhachalam as part of the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) Road expansion initiative.

During a review meeting held at the Collectorate, the Health Minister further revealed that Madhurawada will witness road extension works at six different locations. This decision comes in response to the escalating traffic demands in the region, aiming to improve the overall commuting experience and address congestion concerns.

The expansion works mark a significant step towards modernizing the road infrastructure in Visakhapatnam, catering to the needs of its growing population and economy.
