‘Sarkaru Vari Pata’ will be a bigger hit than Pokiri
Babu’s highly anticipated film Sarkaru Vari Pata is gearing up for a grand theatrical release. Maitree Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment, and 14 Reels Plus are producing this film, directed by Parashuram. It is released worldwide on May 12.
The editor of the film, Marthand K. Venkatesh, speaking to the journalists about the film, said, “Director Parashuram’s films are feel-good love stories, which families love to watch. But SVP has high-voltage mass elements. I have previously edited for Geeta Govindam and Pokiri. SVP is a mix of them in terms of editing and story. It has both mass and sass.
This is going to be a feel-good film, and I am very confident of the film’s success at the box office. The first half is youthful, and the second half is full of family emotions and filled with action scenes. Parashuram told this story while we were working for Geeta Govindam itself,” he added.
According to Marthand, this film will break Pokiri records. Mahesh Babu’s dancing in this film will be a treat for all his fans, he said. He credits Maitree Movie Makers, GMB Entertainments, and 14 Reels plus production houses for making the film with grandeur.
“Construction values are wonderful. They all aimed to make the film rich. There is no compromise anywhere in filmmaking. Their dedication to the cinema is commendable. It was a very good experience,” he said, further adding, “It contains all the elements. We like the hero and heroine characters. One will feel good looking at the heroine’s character and wish to have such a woman in every man’s life.”
Having done over 450 films so far, this is Marthand’s fourth film with Mahesh Babu, and he is elated looking at the way the film turned out to be. Speaking about the lead characters in the film, he said, “Parashuram is an excellent writer. He penned good dialogues for both the characters, designed differently.
There is a lot of fun in the hero’s characterization itself. I believe it will be a very big hit. With the advent of technology, the film industry is facing a tough time in terms of scene leaks and more.” When asked how he deals with such situations and criticism, he said, “Firstly, we take only those who are trustworthy. I don’t hire strangers. Criticism is good. However, it should be structured.”
