We, the management of a reputed school in Yendada, Visakhapatnam, are issuing this public statement to warn other institutions and individuals about a digital marketing fraud involving Mr. Rammohan Kanisetty, who claims to be from Vizianagaram and currently residing near Madhurawada.

This individual approached us in early 2024 posing as the owner of “Diya Marketing”—a so-called digital marketing and branding firm—with promises of offering both digital and physical marketing services such as billboard and hoarding installations. He claimed that his firm was based near SFC, Madhurawada, but upon inspection, we discovered that no such company exists and the address he provided was completely vacant.

To gain our trust, he completed a small initial project professionally and portrayed himself as the IT Head of Vijaya Diagnostics Center, Visakhapatnam. Convinced by his presentation, we entrusted him with a larger project worth ₹1,00,000.

However, once the payment was made, he stopped responding to our calls and failed to complete the work. After repeated follow-ups for nearly three months, he issued a cheque for repayment which bounced due to insufficient funds.

We were left with no option but to approach the local police station, where we registered a formal police complaint and an FIR was filed against him. Following police intervention and multiple warnings issued to him, we managed to recover 80% of the amount.

Later, we came to know that Rammohan had approached several other schools across Vizag, using our school’s name as a false reference to build credibility and repeat the same scam.
