Several Train Diversions in Andhra Pradesh - Check the New Routes



VISAKHAPATNAM: Due to the commissioning of a new loop line at Bomma Samudram (BUM) station in the Tirupati – Katpadi section under the South Central Railway (SCR),

Several trains will be diverted via the Katpadi – Melpakkam – Renigunta route instead of their regular paths. 

The SMVB Bengaluru - Hatia Express (912836) departing from SMVB Bengaluru on May 28 and May 30 will take a diverted route, bypassing stops at Chittoor and Tirupati.


 


The SMVB Bengaluru - Tatanagar Express (12890) leaving SMVB Bengaluru on May 27 will also be diverted, skipping the Tirupati stop.

Additionally, due to Non-Interlocking works at Midnapur station in the Kharagpur Division,

The Chennai Central – New Jalpaiguri Express (22611) departing from Chennai Central on June 4 will be diverted via Tatanagara – Purulia – Kotshila. 

Passengers are advised to check the new routes and plan their journeys accordingly.
