Simhachalam Temple Records Impressive Income of Rs 2.1 Crore in Just 35 Days
Visakhapatnam: Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam temple, known as the Simhachalam temple, has reported a remarkable income of Rs 2.1 crore in a span of just 35 days.
This impressive financial achievement was revealed during the hundi counting ceremony held at the temple premises in Visakhapatnam.
Devotees from all walks of life contributed generously to the temple's hundi, offering a total of about 136 grams of gold, along with 15.25 kilograms of silver.
Notably, the hundi also contained currency notes from various countries, including the USA, Malaysia, Australia, Singapore, England, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Oman, Iran, and Kuwait.
The meticulous counting process at Simhachalam was carried out under the vigilant supervision of the temple's Executive Officer, S Srinivasa Murthy. Temple staff and dedicated volunteers worked diligently to ensure the accurate tallying of the offerings.
The Simhachalam temple's ability to generate such a substantial income in a relatively short period underscores the unwavering devotion of its worshippers and the significance of the temple as a spiritual and cultural center in Visakhapatnam.
The funds collected will undoubtedly contribute to the temple's ongoing maintenance and development, allowing it to continue serving the needs of its devotees and visitors for years to come.
