Visakhapatnam: The city police, with the assistance of narcotic sniffer dog Ceaser, successfully seized 10.56 kg of ganja at the Visakhapatnam railway station on Tuesday.
The dog squad teams have been regularly conducting inspections at high-traffic areas such as the RTC Complex, railway station, and Beach Road to locate narcotic substances.
During one of these inspections, Ceaser detected the hidden ganja packets at the railway station, which were promptly handed over to the Railway Protection Force.
In recognition of their efforts, City Police Commissioner Shanka Brata Bagchi honored sniffer dog Ceaser and handler Ram Prasad for their diligent work in successfully identifying the contraband.
