To manage the expected surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festivals, South Central Railway has introduced special train services.

These special trains will operate between various destinations to ensure smooth travel for passengers during this festive season. According to a press release issued on 25th September 2024, the following trains have been scheduled:

• Train No. 09575 (Rajkot - Mahbubnagar): Operating on Mondays from 7th October 2024 to 30th December 2024.
• Train No. 09576 (Mahbubnagar - Rajkot): Operating on Tuesdays from 8th October 2024 to 31st December 2024.
• Train No. 02811 (Bhubaneswar - Yesvantpur): Operating on Saturdays from 5th October 2024 to 30th November 2024.
  
  

• Train No. 02812 (Yesvantpur - Bhubaneswar): Operating on Mondays from 7th October 2024 to 2nd December 2024.
• Train No. 02841 (Shalimar - MGR Chennai Central): Operating on Mondays from 30th September 2024 to 18th November 2024.
• Train No. 02842 (MGR Chennai Central - Shalimar): Operating on Wednesdays from 2nd October 2024 to 20th November 2024.
