A 24-year-old Swiss paraglider, Noah Ellis, fell victim to an alleged attack and robbery by three unidentified individuals at Yarada beach in Visakhapatnam.
The incident occurred as Ellis, arriving from Switzerland, was exploring the area for a suitable paragliding spot, trekking the hill between Yarada village and the burial ground.
Noah Ellis had just landed in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, having traveled from Kolkata.
His intention to find an ideal location for paragliding was marred by the unfortunate encounter with the assailants, who not only attacked him but also made off with his mobile phone.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and efforts are underway to ensure the safety of visitors to popular destinations like Yarada beach.
