TDP, JSP, and BJP Withdraw from Visakhapatnam MLC By-Election

Amaravati: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP), along with its coalition partners Janasena Party (JSP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has decided to withdraw from the upcoming by-election for the MLC seat reserved for local authorities in the former Visakhapatnam district.

This decision was made by TDP Chief and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

In a recent teleconference with party leaders, Naidu emphasized that while securing victory in the election would be feasible, it was more important to uphold the principles of dignified politics.

His call for maintaining decorum in the political process was met with unanimous support from the TDP and coalition members.

As the deadline for filing nominations approaches today, Naidu’s decision has been communicated clearly to all involved parties.
