GVMC Orders Removal of Footpath Encroachments in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: In an effort to enhance pedestrian accessibility and maintain city cleanliness, GVMC Commissioner P. Sampath Kumar recently visited Buchirajupalem and Baji Junction.

During his tour of Zone-8, he reviewed the sanitation work and addressed the issue of waste resulting from daily street cleaning.

Commissioner Sampath Kumar gently reminded vendors and traders who have set up on footpaths to relocate their businesses, as these areas are designated for pedestrian use.

This initiative is aimed at ensuring that footpaths remain open and accessible for all residents.

The GVMC is working closely with local vendors to facilitate a smooth transition and appreciates their cooperation in keeping the footpaths clear and pedestrian-friendly.
