The AP Government will implement the semester system in government schools

The Andhra Pradesh government has issued an official order to implement the two-semester system in all government schools in the state. This will be implemented for classes 1 to 9 starting next academic year, and for class 10 starting in the 2024-25 academic year.

This system is being set up as part of the initial steps taken toward the implementation of the National Education Policy—2020. The order stated that this system will benefit both students and teachers, making learning more meaningful.

All Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, Samagra Shiksha Additional Project Coordinators, and Principals of DIETs in AP are informed of the same.
