The immersion of Ganesh idols at RK beach is prohibited

Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on a grand scale this year. Considering this, the Visakhapatnam city police issued guidelines regarding pandals and the immersion of Ganesh idols.
Immersion of Ganesha idols is prohibited at RK Beach, especially between The Park Hotel Junction and the Naval Coastal Battery on the RK Beach Road. The city police notified authorized immersion locations. Spillway Jetty, Dry Jetty Coastal Battery, Peda Waltair Jalaripeta, Sagar Nagar, Jodugullapalem, Beach Opposite IT SEZ, Bheemili Beach, Gosthani River, Narava, Pinagadi lake, and Appikonda Ravala lake are among them.

Other guidelines are as follows:
Pandal organizers must obtain permits from the GVMC, fire, and electricity departments prior to actually seeking permission from the ACP office to set up the Pandal.
Single-use plastic in any form, plaster of paris Ganesha, and high-chemical artificial color idols are prohibited.
Pandals can continue to celebrate from August 31 to September 10, 2022.
Entry tickets are not allowed at Pandals, and organizers are advised to install CCTV cameras for extra security.
Only box-type speakers can be used to play music from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the volume should not exceed 55 decibels during the day and 45 decibels at night.
Obscene dance is not permitted at pandals or during the procession of idol immersion.

The 9493336633 number is dedicated to receiving complaints about entry fee collection and related issues.
