Mayor G. Hari Venkata Kumari bids farewell to Dr. Lakshmisha, who served as the commissioner of Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation from October 30, 2021. P Rajababu, an IAS from the 2013 batch, recently replaced him.
On Thursday, the Mayor and other staff honored Lakshmisha and spoke about his contributions to the GVMC's successful revenue generation. The Mayor also stated that after holding numerous positions, he came to Visakhapatnam and contributed to the city's development during his tenure here. He was well-known for his unique working style and was more successful in reducing the use of single-use plastic in the city.
Dr. Lakshmisha will now serve as the Andhra Pradesh Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation's Managing Director and Special Officer (APUFIDC).
