"Rolling Back the Years," the city's first international musical show, which is part of The Rohit Memorial Trust's fundraiser event, Rohit Rocks, is a massive hit. On Saturday, February 18th, it was held at The Park hotel in Vizag. The show featured music from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s by artists and bands such as Elton John, ABBA, Diana Ross, and Frank Sinatra. With over 100 costume changes, this show featured an international cast of singers and dancers who captivated the audience with their performances.

During the program, "Sahasi Vira Awards" were given to Ms. Farzana Begum, a fitness coach, and nutritionist; Ms. Karri Leela Kumari, a home guard; and Mr. Srinu Pothuraju, the CCRP's head constable, for their efforts and never give up attitude in successfully fighting cancer.

Due to the sponsorship of a few companies and donations from people who believed in the cause, this fundraiser show was able to raise a good amount of funds. The Trust is now in its 15th year of operation and has received Ministry of Corporate Affairs CSR registration to carry out activities. This means that businesses can help the trust by allocating CSR funds. Individual contributions also are exempt under Section 80G of the IT Act.

The Rohit Memorial Trust also mentors and supports children from low-income families by paying their school fees, improving their spoken skills and personalities, and involving them in Trust activities. The kids told Hello Vizag that they were excited to be a part of this fundraiser and thanked Rohit Memorial Trust for their assistance.

The Rohit Memorial Trust team expressed their delight at the show's success and thanked the audience. They added that the trust is fortunate to have generous people who are financially supporting them in this endeavor.
