The Oberoi Group, a luxury hotel chain, will invest Rs. 1500 crore in Andhra Pradesh
The Oberoi Group plans to invest Rs. 1500 crore in Andhra Pradesh to build seven-star hotels. This group has expressed interest in establishing hotels in Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Gandikota, Picchukalanka, and Horsely Hills and operating a tourism center in the Paderu region.
Rajaraman Shankar, the President and Chief Operating Officer met with CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office earlier this week and discussed the group's interest. The Chief Minister has directed officials to grant Oberoi Group projects in AP the necessary permissions through a single window.
These 7-star hotels and other establishments are expected to employ 1500 people directly and provide indirect employment to 11000 people.
