On the 22nd and 23rd of November, the Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) hosted the PM Gati Sakthi Maritime Summit-2022 at the VPA Administrative Office Building, as directed by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways.

The inaugural event of the PM Gati Sakthi Maritime Summit — 2022 was held yesterday in the presence of distinguished guests from the city's various industries. VPA Chairman Shri K. Rama Mohana Rao, IAS, was the chief guest and delivered an address to the august gathering. Guests of Honor for the inaugural event included Waltair Divisional Manager Sri Anup Kumar Satpathy-IRTS, Commissioner of Customs Visakhapatnam, Mr. K. Engineer-IRS, Dy. Chairman of VPA, Sri Durgesh Kumar Dubey-IRTS, Chief Vigilance Officer, VPA, Sri P.S.L. Swamy-IOFS, and Chief Executive Officer, Vizag Seaport Pvt. Ltd., Sri Ragam Kishore.

All stakeholders associated with the Visakhapatnam Port Authority have been invited to the two-day mega event, which has included a series of brainstorming sessions as well as innovative lectures and presentations. The programme is being continued today.
