As no Indian festival is complete without a decadent spread of delicacies, Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach celebrates Diwali in style yesterday with an exciting ladoo-making ceremony at 'The Square.' This ladoo-making tradition has been a part of this hotel since its inception, and it is carried out with great cheer and festive fervor of this much-loved age-old Indian tradition.

With over 30 guests present, the culinary team at Novotel Visakhapatnam rolled up their sleeves and attempted to make this one-of-a-kind ladoo by combining boondi. For the guests present at the event, mixing the warm boondi and dry fruits brought back nostalgia and memories of the significance of making ladoos during the festive occasion of Diwali. 400 ladoos were made in 15 minutes by the participants. The participants who made the best-shaped ladoos were declared the winners.
