Tourism Investors’ Meet to be held in Visakhapatnam
The Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers) has proposed to organize the Tourism Investors' Meet in June 2022 at Visakhapatnam.
AP Chambers general secretary, B Raja Sekhar, Tourism Sub-Committee Chairman, K Vijay Mohan, and member Tarun Kakani called on Minister for Tourism, RK Roja at the AP Secretariat on Friday and submitted proposals for organizing the AP Tourism Investors' Meet and AP Travel Mart in association with theGovernment of Andhra Pradesh. Chairman of APTDC, Vara Prasad Reddy, was also present.
The AP Chambers proposed to organize the Tourism Investors Meet in June 2022 at Visakhapatnam. The objective of the meeting is to attract major tourism players into the State. AP Chambers also submitted a proposal to organize the AP Travel Mart in August 2022 at Tirupati.
The Travel Mart is proposed to be organized along the lines of popular annual travel marts that take place around the world. The Tourism Minister said that she will look into the proposals.
Later, AP Chambers general secretary, B Raja Sekhar, and member Tarun Kakani paid a courtesy visit to Gudivada Amarnath, Minister for Industries and Commerce at his chambers at AP Secretariat and congratulated him on taking charge of the Industries & Commerce, Infrastructure & Investment, and Information Technology departments.
