The Visakhapatnam Police Department has issued traffic guidelines for the public in advance of the Global Investors Summit, which will be held on March 3 and 4 at the AU Engineering College Grounds. For security, over 3000 police personnel have been deployed. Three helipads have been set up at the AU Engineering College Grounds to transport delegates from the airport, and Visakhapatnam Airport has made room for 18 special aircrafts that will carry national and international delegates to Vizag for GIS. The government is organizing this summit on a larger scale with the aim to attract investments and signing an MoU for Rs 3 lakh crore in investments.

The Police Department issued traffic guidelines, in view of the Global Investors Summit on March 3 and 4, 2023:

Heavy vehicles traveling from Srikakulam and Vizianagaram to Anakapalli will be diverted to Sabbavaram and Pendurthi at Anandapuram, while those traveling from Anakapalli to Srikakulam and Vizianagaram will be diverted to Lankelapalem, Sabbavaram, Pendurthi, and Anandapuram.

People attending the summit were asked to park their vehicles in the designated spaces and reach the Andhra University Engineering College Grounds via the 3-Town Police Station Road or Maddilapalem. 

During the summit, general-purpose vehicles will not be permitted on the road connecting Maddilapalem Junction and the 3-Town Police Station via the Andhra University Engineering College Grounds. These vehicles are also not permitted to pass through the SP bungalow.  

People going to the beach on March 3, 2023, must park their vehicles at the APIIC Grounds, Viswapriya Grounds, and Exhibition Grounds behind the police guest house.

During these two days, the public is asked to avoid the Polamamba Temple-Siripuram Junction and Vemana Mandir-Tycoon Hotel junctions, as well as routes connecting Kurupam Junction, Park Hotel Junction, All India Radio, CR Reddy Circle, Novotel Varun Beach, and Circuit House Junction.
