In a distressing incident that occurred on September 8 (Friday), a 16-year-old Intermediate student tragically ended her life in her hostel room located in Boyapalem under the jurisdiction of PM Palem police station in Visakhapatnam.

The police suspect that academic pressure may have driven her to take this extreme step.

The young girl hailed from Cheepurupalli in Vizianagaram district, as informed by PM Palem police station Inspector Y. Ramakrishna. It is deeply troubling that academic stress may have played a significant role in this tragic event.
