Visakhapatnam: The Andhra-Ooty Araku train service will experience a temporary disruption from Thursday to Sunday, affecting passengers traveling between Visakhapatnam and Kirandul.

This service suspension is a result of essential safety-related modernization efforts taking place between Gorapur, Araku, and Shimiliguda stations along the Kottavalasa-Koraput section in the Waltair division.

During this period, the Waltair Division has arranged alternative travel options for tourists' convenience. 

The Visakhapatnam-Kirandul train service (train number 08551), known for its Vistadome coaches, departing from Visakhapatnam on Thursdays through Sundays, will be temporarily canceled.

Similarly, the Kirandul-Visakhapatnam train service (train number 08552), departing from Kirandul on Thursdays through Mondays, will also be affected.

The railway authorities of the Waltair Division kindly request the public to take note of these changes and plan their travel arrangements accordingly. Your understanding and cooperation during this brief interruption in service are greatly appreciated.
