TTD Prepares for 10-Day Vaikunta Dwara Darshan at Tirumala

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making extensive arrangements for the upcoming 10-day Vaikunta Dwara Darshan at the Lord Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala, scheduled from January 10 to 19, 2025.

Online bookings for the Vaikunta Ekadasi Darshan commenced on December 23, 2024, via TTD's official website. Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets became available on December 24, 2024. Devotees can secure their slots through the website, selecting preferred dates and time slots for the darshan.

To manage the anticipated influx of pilgrims, TTD will distribute Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens at various centers in Tirupati and Tirumala. In Tirupati, tokens will be available at MR Palli, Jeevakona, Ramanaidu School, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Indira Maidan, Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasam, and Bhudevi Complex. In Tirumala, tokens can be obtained at the Kaustubham Guesthouse. Only devotees with valid SSD tokens will be permitted entry for the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan.

The festivities will commence on Vaikunta Ekadasi Day (January 10, 2025) with VIP protocol darshan starting at 4:45 am. A grand Swarna Ratham (golden chariot) procession is scheduled from 9 am to 11 am. On Dwadasi Day (January 11, 2025), the sacred Chakrasnanam ritual will take place at the Srivari Pushkarini (temple pond) between 5:30 am and 6:30 am.

TTD has also arranged for free food distribution (Annadanam) from 6 am to midnight, offering items such as tea, coffee, milk, upma, sugar pongali, and pongali. A buffer stock of 3.5 lakh laddus will be maintained to meet the high demand during the festival. In coordination with local police, traffic management plans have been implemented to ensure smooth movement around the temple area.

These comprehensive preparations aim to provide a seamless and spiritually enriching experience for the multitude of devotees expected to participate in the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan at Tirumala.
